Here you’ll find a resource kit that helps kindergartens to set children up for success in school and life, using school readiness funds. All our resources are evidence-based and aim to positively influence children’s health, learning and development.
DET school readiness funding menu
The Department of Education and Training’s (DET) school readiness funding recognises the important role kindergartens play in enabling children to benefit from the boost that early learning provides. Kindergartens can use this funding to purchase items on and off the school readiness funding menu.
You’ll find that most of our resources are located on the DET school readiness funding menu, address early years learning and development frameworks and the DET school readiness priority areas:

Laying the Foundations An online learning course that enhances professionals understanding of how they can positively shape early childhood learning and development from 0-8 years. Let’s Read Helps professionals to facilitate literacy-rich kindergarten and home learning environments for children using books and reading.
