Raising Children Network wins Australian Web Award

The Raising Children Network (RCN) has won the 2011 Australian Web Award in the Not for Profit category. This category recognises websites from not for profit organisations with exceptional user experience, visual design and content.

RCN took out the award for Australia’s eastern region, and is now a finalist for the national award to be announced on November 12.

This is the second major website award RCN has won in 2011.  In August, RCN was awarded ‘Best in Class’ at the Interactive Media Awards. RCN received a perfect score in the community and family category and is the sixth website to earn a perfect score in the award’s history.

The ‘Best in Class’ award is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards and represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.

The Raising Children Network is a consortium between the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, the Parenting Research Centre and the Smart Population Foundation.
