CCCH goes to PAS

CCCH-PASThe annual Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting brings together thousands of people from around the world to consider their common mission: improving child health and wellbeing.

In 2016, the Centre for Community Child Health sent its largest cohort ever to the meeting.

Professor Frank Oberklaid and Associate Professor Harriet Hiscock attended, along with Doctors Alanna Hanvey, Kate Lycett, Jon Quach, Emma Sciberras and Valerie Sung. Professor Melissa Wake was invited to deliver a prestigious Presidential Plenary.

PAS provides an overview of emerging research within a range of paediatric academic specialties, an opportunity to identify areas for future research, and the chance to do lots of networking. Congratulations to the CCCH staff who shared knowledge and learnt new information at the 2016 Pediatric Academic Societies meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.
