The Centre for Community Child Health and the Centre of Research Excellence in Child Language (CRE-CL) are proud to present a full-day seminar bringing together key experts in child language development from Australia and the UK. The seminar is designed for early years services, schools, allied health professionals, local government, policy makers and researchers, and will focus on three key areas:
- The practice and policy challenges in addressing the language needs of young children
- What’s happening on the ground? Lessons from the UK and Victoria
- New research and implications for practice.
The seminar will be convened by Professor Sheena Reilly, Director of the Menzies Health Institute, Griffith University and lead investigator for the CRE-CL, and will feature the following speakers:
