The forum, to be held in Darebin Victoria, on Friday August 22, will bring together policy makers and practitioners from early children’s services, maternal and child health, family services, health and government services, to explore the risks and vulnerabilities for local children and their families.
“The research tells us that investing in the early years provides the strongest return on investment for lifelong positive change.
“We need to start addressing issues before they reach crisis point”, CCCH Director Professor Frank Oberklaid said.
The forum is being hosted by the Northern Metropolitan Local Government Councils in partnership with CCCH.
