About the seminar
This seminar will address two main themes – supporting vulnerable children and their families and measuring quality improvement and the impact of place-based approaches for children. It is designed for early years services, schools, health professionals, local government, policy makers and researchers and is designed to promote a robust discussion about these key areas of effort in order to create sustained change for children’s outcomes. Keynote speakers include:
Dr Robert Kahn, MD, MPH, a general pediatrician, child health researcher, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr Michael Little is the Co-Director of The Social Research Unit based at Dartington in the UK and holds professorial positions at the universities of Bath and Exeter, and is Visiting Fellow at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.
