New parenting resources

raisingchildren.net.au has built a new home for its collection of more than 450 languages other than English (LOTE) resources, which are now available via one free easy-access web page.

The web page was designed to bring together all of the site’s LOTE resources including free articles, videos and picture guides. It can be used as a handy referral tool for professionals working with families and includes topics such as daily care, nutrition, sleep, child disability and more.

With more than 23 per cent of Australians speaking a language other than English, it is important that LOTE resources are readily available and come from a trusted source. These evidence-based resources can help families navigate through the varied experiences of parenting.

Languages supported on the site include:

  • Arabic
  • Auslan
  • Burmese
  • Cantonese
  • Dari
  • Dinka
  • Hakha Chin
  • Hindi
  • Indonesian
  • Korean
