The Royal Children’s Hospital is proud to host a program that brings together leading practitioners and researchers to discuss developments in infant, child and adolescent mental health.

The Topics in Child and Adolescent Mental Health program is designed for allied health and medical practitioners, government representatives and all those interested in the latest evidence on infant, child and adolescent mental health, and the practical implications of the evidence.

Speakers and topics

The program features a range of speakers from The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and beyond. Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr Nicola Reavley, NHMRC Career Development Fellow and Senior Research Fellow in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne
  • Professor David R Coghill, Financial Markets Foundation Chair in Developmental Mental Health at The University of Melbourne (formerly Clinical Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of Dundee)
  • Professor Mark Dadds, Director of the Sydney Child Behaviour Research Clinic, Principal Research Fellow of the NHMRC, and Professor of Psychology at the University of Sydney
  • Professor Ingrid Scheffer AO, Chair of Paediatric Neurology Research at The University of Melbourne, and Senior Principal Research Fellow at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
