Young people (years 5-8) are invited to have your say on the Matterworks Decode mental health program

In partnership with Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, Matterworks is running a series of interactive community consultations with young people (years 5-8) from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD).

In this workshop, we’ll view Matterworks’ Decode mental health and wellbeing program (a video series and lesson content) and assess how effective it is, particularly for young people from CALD backgrounds and their communities.

While the workshop is focused on these young people, parents are also welcome to join and be involved.

They’re happening this weekend in two locations:

Inner-city (The Huddle, North Melbourne Football Club): Saturday May 20th (10am – 12:30pm)

South-East suburbs (Old Cheese Factory, Berwick): Sunday May 21st (10am – 12:30pm)

All participants get a voucher to participate!

To sign up, they can contact Jess (Research Producer + Facilitator), through email jess@matterworks.com.au or call 0406 188 726.

Or directly fill out this briefing + survey form: https://0dn8pdeghis.typeform.com/to/JYTmhgoX

Jess can also talk anyone through the process of signing up and what the workshop will involve.
