Continuing to make a difference

An update from Professor Sharon Goldfeld, Director of Centre for Community Child Health

In these difficult times, it has never been more important to support children, their families and our community.

For the Centre for Community Child Health, this means our staff will continue to deliver research, projects and services that focus on the health, development and wellbeing of children.

With the support of The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, we have access to specialist teams and digital platforms that enable us to continue to undertake and deliver projects with our local, national and international partners. Yes, we will need to be more resourceful, inventive and patient, but our commitment is unwavering. As you will see in our latest edition of Children’s Health and Development, our teams are already providing new resources and online training to respond to the needs and support the many people who strive to provide children with the environments and experiences they need to thrive.

I invite you to stay in touch as we all play a part in meeting the changing needs of children and families in this uniquely challenging time and to engage with us as we work to enhance our communities.
