We are so excited to share that the new Livewire site is 1 year old!
Livewire is an on-line community for teens living with a serious illness or chronic health condition.
The new site is mobile friendly and faster and more accessible than ever before. It has more options for sharing photos and real-time news and status updates. Plus, there’s a new, easy to use moderated chat room for young people to connect in real time.
Unlike most social media, Livewire is safe and free of negativity and judgment. It’s a no-pressure space where teenagers can just be themselves.
Livewire continues to meet the needs of teens living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability. And importantly, Livewire is facilitated by fully trained Livewire Chat Hosts making sure every runs smoothly; helping to create a positive and safe experience for all!
If you know someone who might benefit from the support of the Livewire community, all they need to do is head to livewire.org.au and click on ‘join now’.
