Anne Shipp has won the 2019 Consumer Choice Award!

Voted for by our community, the Consumer Choice Award recognises a member of the RCH team who has exceeded expectations when it comes to delivering great care to patients and families.

Anne began her career as a Registered Nurse in the RCH Cardiac Unit in 1988. Anne cared for the hospital’s first heart transplant patient, and has played an integral role in the unit ever since. This is her second time winning the Consumer Choice award, after first receiving the prize in 2015.

Anne is beloved by her patients, many of who nominated Anne for her willingness to go above and beyond in patient care, and for always being available to families for reassurance and guidance.
