Four finalists have been selected for this year’s Consumer Choice Award. 

The annual Consumer Choice Award, voted for by the RCH community, recognises a staff member who goes above and beyond expectations to deliver great care.

This year’s finalists are:

• Sebastian King, Translational Research Paediatric Surgeon.
  Sebastian has been nominated by members of the community who recognise his family centred approach to outpatient clinics as well as his unwavering commitment and support to the families under his care.
• Andrew Kornberg, Neurologist.
  Andrew been nominated for the constant support, guidance and advice he provides families and patients of the RCH. Many parents are also impressed with his ability to have patients leave the clinic with a smile!
• Jess Scaletti, Registered Nurse
  Jess works on our Kelpie Ward. She’s been nominated by for the compassion and kindness she shows, particularly when reassuring overwhelmed or upset families and patients.
• Anne Shipp, Clinical Nurse Consultant
  She has been nominated by those in the RCH community who have experienced her willingness to go above and beyond in patient care and being available for reassurance and guidance whenever a family has needed her.

Members of the public have until 5pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 to vote for this year’s winner.

The Consumer Choice Award will be announced on the RCH Facebook page on Wednesday, November 27.
