As a parent who is in debt to 3 of the nominees (all very worthy winners) I just wanted to add a little complaint about the wording of the award. It is not a ‘Consumer’ choice survey. None of the nominees work in food service on main street. No-one goes to the RCH because they feel like it. This is a children’s hospital and these CITIZENS are in need. I feel that to call it a consumer choice survey belittles both the work of these outstanding people and the experiences of the patients and their families. Why not simply ‘People’s Choice’?
