The RCH has been nominated for a record number of Victorian Public Healthcare Awards this year, including the Premier’s Large Health Service of the Year.

Teams from across the hospital have been nominatated for work in both clinical and non-clinical categories. The hospital also secured two nominations in the new ‘Improving children’s health’ category.

The awards recognise leadership and excellence in the provision of publicly-funded healthcare for the Victorian community.

“To have been shortlisted in so many categories is just outstanding; congratulations to everyone involved,”CEO Professor Christine Kilpatrick said.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Monday December 12, 2016.
