Nash Vienna has bugs down his throat.

That’s what the three-year-old will tell you if you ask why he’s at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

What Nash doesn’t yet understand is that these bugs are antibiotic resistant “super bugs”, which can be life threatening to patients like him who have cystic fibrosis.

The Werribee boy was diagnosed through his newborn heel prick test.
