Mary-Ann Hope Scholarship for Secondary School Nurses

In 2001 the Centre Adolescent Health together with the (then) Vic Department of Health established the Mary-Ann Hope Scholarship, available to secondary school nurses to support their undertaking of higher learning in adolescent health and welfare.

The scholarship is in honor of Mary-Ann Hope who was integral to the establishment of the secondary school nurses program and had extensive experience in the field of adolescent health.

Once again, in 2011, the Mary-Ann Hope scholarship has been offered by the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development to a Victorian Secondary School Nurse. This years winner is Kristina Bergin who works at Keilor Downs and Taylors Lakes Secondary Colleges. Kristina started study in the Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health & Welfare in March this year and we wish her every success.
