Congratulations to Dr Michele Yeo, Adolescent Physician at the RCH Centre for Adolescent Heath who has just been awarded the inaugural RCH Consumer Choice Award. This award is presented to a member of the RCH staff team by representatives of the RCH patient and consumer community. It recognises a member of the RCH team who goes above and beyond expectations to deliver great care.

The citation reads: ‘Michele is renowned as a paediatrician who builds meaningful working relationships with patients and their families. She is respected by her patients and their families for the investment she makes in both their current and future needs. With a caring and considerate approach to her daily work, the consumers who nominated her for this award felt respected, valued, heard and in safe hands when receiving care from Michele. She is a guiding example of patient and family centred care.’
