Swiss Paediatrician joins CAH

Dr Anne-Emmanuelle Ambresin is a pediatrician from Switzerland who joined the Centre for Adolescent Health in February 2011. Prior to this, she worked for 3 years in the
adolescent unit in Lausanne Switzerland which is led by Professor Pierre Andre Michaud. She has a particular clinical interest in vulnerable youth, including migrants and young people in ‘out of home’ care, as well as in functional disorders.

Anne-Emmanuelle has come primarily for research training. She will participate in data analysis of the Adolescent Friendly Healthcare Survey at the RCH, and on the PARTY project, a cluster randomised controlled trial of the effect of youth friendly general practice on adolescent risk behaviors (lead by A/Prof. Lena Sanci in collaboration with the CAH).
She has enrolled in a Master of Epidemiology at the School of Population Health, University of Melbourne.

Anne-Emmanuelle is accompanied by her husband and two children (7
and 9) and will spend the next 2 years with us in Melbourne. We wish Anne-Emmanuelle and her family all the best for there time at the CAH and in Australia.
