Several Alumni members were honoured in The Queen’s Birthday Honours:

We congratulate:-

Professor Ruth Bishop AO, who was awarded AC (Companion in the general division) “For eminent service to global child health through the development of improved vaccines for paediatric gastroenteritis, and to medical research.”

Dr David McCredie, who was awarded AM (Member in the  General Division) in the birthday honours list “For significant service to medicine in the field of paediatric nephrology” and Prof James Wilkinson, who was also awarded AM (Member in the  General Division) “For significant service to medicine, particularly paediatric cardiology.”

We are also delighted to offer congratulations to Dr Pat Fair on her award of OAM (Medal of The Order of Australia) “For service to women, to medical research, and to the community” and to Mrs Patricia (Paddy) Keith on her award of OAM (Medal of The Order of Australia) “For service to the community through a range of organisations.”
