Yarra Trams has advised that they will be performing works to the tram lines on Flemington Road on May 26, 27 and 28. 

The middle section (tram reserve) along Flemington Road will be closed to traffic and trams between Elliott Avenue/Racecourse Road and Gatehouse Street.

The impact on the Hospital on Saturday May 26 and Sunday May 27 will be as follows:

• No right turn from the RCH car park exit on the Saturday or Sunday – left turn only (this will be traffic managed).
• No tram service on Flemington Road, with buses replacing services.

The road will be reopened on Monday May 28, however bus replacement will still be in place on Flemington Road.

Buses will pick up and drop off in front of the RCH on the outer lanes of Flemington Road. Most buses will be accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Talk with bus drivers if you need assistance to board.

If you are travelling to the RCH on these dates please allow extra time.
