Australian cricketer Shane Warne and British actress Elizabeth Hurley visited patients, families and staff at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) today.

Shane is also the Chairman of The Shane Warne Foundation, of which Elizabeth has recently become patron. The foundation works to help enrich the lives of seriously ill and underprivileged children in Australia.

“It was fantastic to visit The Royal Children’s Hospital today and put some smiles on the children’s faces and meet the hard working staff, who do an amazing job with the children.  The RCH is an incredible hospital and do such a great job looking after so many brave children” Elizabeth and Shane said after the visit.

Their visit was a great treat for patients and families, and they were also very popular with staff.
