Bendigo Senior Secondary College student Natasha Tripp will sit her final Year 12 exam today at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Born with cystic fibrosis, 18-year-old Natasha has spent her life moving in and out of the RCH.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Natasha has tackled her final year at high school with courage, ignoring suggestions of spreading year 12 over two years.

Natasha’s dad Philip said “She’s been in hospital for two weeks at a time, every month or so. But she just keeps going. I am very very proud of her.” Nurses and fellow patients are sure to be celebrating with Natasha after her last exam today. Natasha plans a gap year next year, before studying physiotherapy or exercise science in 2012.
