There has been a widespread outage of the Telstra network this morning, affecting mobile and data connectivity and payment systems.
Some systems at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) are currently impacted by the network outage. If you are visiting the hospital and are experiencing disruptions while on the Telstra network:
- Turn your phone off and on again.
- Connect to the RCH GUEST Wi-Fi network
- Agree to the Terms & Conditions
- Turn on Wi‑Fi Calling in your phone settings:
- iPhone: Settings > Apps > Phone > Wi‑Fi Calling > Turn on Wi‑Fi Calling on This iPhone.
- Android: Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet) > Wi‑Fi Calling > Turn on.
