Next Wednesday, December 2, the RCH is launching an exciting new project!
The Australian Child Health Poll is a survey of Australian households which will shed new light on the big issues in contemporary child and adolescent health – as told by you, the Australian public.
The poll, which is funded by the RCH Foundation, is being led by Dr Anthea Rhodes, a paediatrician in the Department of General Medicine here at the RCH.
We asked Anthea to tell us five things about the new poll. Here’s what she said:
- It’s a national survey asking the Australian public about the big issues in child and adolescent health.
- The poll will help us understand the thoughts, attitudes and behaviours of Australian children and teenagers today.
- The survey will be carried out every three months so there’s going to be lots of new and interesting research to delve into!
- The poll is another way for the RCH to provide great care around child health.
- And our first poll… I’m afraid I can’t say! But I promise it’s going to be exciting and interesting!
Be sure to check back in on Wednesday when Anthea reveals the results from our very first poll!
