The Royal Children’s Hospital, in partnership with Safer Care Victoria has adapted a number of clinical practice guidelines for statewide use since 2012.
The Royal Children’s Hospital is now working with the Paediatric Improvement Collaborative (PIC), which includes Queensland Health Clinical Excellence Division and New South Wales Health Agency for Clinical Innovation in addition to Safer Care Victoria to improve the statewide guidelines. Support is also being provided by the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The PIC aims to improve the safety, reliability and effectiveness of care for children in any acute setting.
