Victorian Government caretaker period

As the Victorian State election will be held on Saturday 28 November 2026, the Victorian Government will assume a Caretaker role from 6pm on 3 November 2026. Camphor poisoning

Camphor Poisoning was an existing Victorian CPG that has been revised

Key Points

  1. Camphor is highly toxic
  2. Onset of symptoms can be early, within 15 mins of ingestion of more than 30mg/kg
  3. Neurologic complications are common. Seizures can occur within 90 mins of ingestion
