Dr H Julie Jones (11.11.1926 – 09.07.2017)

The Royal Children’s Hospital Medical Alumni are sad to record the recent death of Dr Julie Jones, who as a child psychiatrist, alerted the medical and general communities to the impact of death and loss on the emotional life and well-being of children and their parents.

She was a passionate pioneer in supporting children with malignancies, their families and the staff who worked with them and made a lasting difference which is greatly appreciated. We extend our sincere condolences to her family.
