The president and executive of the Alumni Association were much saddened to learn of the death of Dr Jim Keipert last week, at the age of 98.

Jim was a highly regarded “elder statesman” amongst senior members of the Alumni. He continued to contribute regularly to Alumni affairs and to attend meetings as well as producing material for the “Newsletters”. His most recent contribution was published recently in the latest Aluminations (October 2021) on:

“The architects, engineers and builders of the Roman Empire – the greatest ever.”
