Reuben Glass FRACP. 10 Sep 1932 – 10 November 2019

The Alumni executive were saddened to learn of the death of Dr Reuben Glass.

After working as an isolated GP for three years in Cobargo, NSW, he acquired the MRACP in 1964 and set up in private consulting Paediatric practice, with attachments at Box Hill and St Vincent’s hospitals. He also worked part time at Queen Victoria Medical Centre from 1967 to 1986. He was, at various times, QV Children’s Divisional Chairman and Dean of Alfred Hospital Clinical School.

Reuben was a regular attender at Alumni meetings and functions and will be remembered as an outstanding clinician and teacher who was a pioneer in medical informatics and a remarkable original thinker.
