The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is currently looking for more volunteers to join our Ward Grandparent Program.
Ward Grandparents like Isabel Mellado spend around three hours a day, three days per week at the RCH looking after patients like one-year-old Minni Anstee.
Ward Grandparents spend quality time with RCH patients to enhance the psychological health and well being of children and infants who are unable to be fully supported by parents, often during long periods of hospitalisation.
