Patients and families at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) had a touch of Olympic glory today when dual Olympic swimmer Matt Targett visited the wards.
Matt won silver in the 4x100m medley and a bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. And at the London 2012 Olympics Matt competed in the 4×100 freestyle relay and won bronze in the 4×100 medley.
Patients and families spoke to Matt about his experience at the London Olympics and had photos taken holding his bronze medal.
