Western Bulldogs players Mitch Wallis and Luke Dahlhaus dropped into The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) today to pay a special visit to patient Corey Mirabelli.

Corey is an avid Bulldogs fan and a talented footballer. Late last month, soon after returning home from a Bulldogs match, Corey began to experience severe headaches. He was brought to the RCH where doctors found Corey had suffered a bleed to the brain, causing him to lose much of his speech and mobility. After three major surgeries, Corey now has extensive rehabilitation and is starting to improve.

Corey was thrilled to meet his AFL idols today, soon after being told by doctors that he would make a full recovery and would even be able to play football again.
