Seven-year-old Jay Davidson, who last September was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), took some time out from chemotherapy this week to inspect this year’s Good Friday Appeal charity auction house.

Jay is this year’s ambassador for the charity auction house, which will be sold this month to raise money for The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH). The four-bedroom, two-story house, which has been donated by builder Henley Properties and residential developer Villawood Properties, is located in Clyde in Melbourne’s southeast.

Jay’s was diagnosed with ALL last September, said mum Nicole Davidson. “He’d barely needed any trips to the doctor and then suddenly the rug is being pulled out from under our feet” she said.

Prospective buyers must pre-register to bid on the house which will be auctioned on Good Friday, 29 March.
