Synopsis:In recognition of 40 years in Paediatric Oncology, Dr Keith Waters will use acute lymphatic leukaemia as a model of the remarkable change from an incurable disease to one with a very high cure rate.  The Grand Round will be part history, science, personal reflections, a tribute to patients and their families, and the multidisciplinary teams involved in their care at RCH over the last 40 years.  It is a wonderful story, framed within one long and dedicated career.
