{"id":9081,"date":"2021-08-23T13:57:39","date_gmt":"2021-08-23T03:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/news\/?p=9081"},"modified":"2021-08-23T13:57:39","modified_gmt":"2021-08-23T03:57:39","slug":"covid-19-exposure-at-the-rch-food-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/news\/covid-19-exposure-at-the-rch-food-court\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 exposure at the RCH food court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Three private retail food outlets in The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital food court \u2013 McDonald\u2019s, Aruba and Shuji Sushi \u2013 are temporarily closed for deep cleaning after a back-of-house McDonald\u2019s team member tested positive for COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Department of Health has listed McDonald\u2019s as a <strong>Tier 2 site from<\/strong> <strong>5.00pm to 9.00pm on Friday 20 August<\/strong>. Anyone who visited the site during this time should get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result.<\/p>\n<p>A COVID-19 exposure response has been activated and our teams are working closely and quickly with the Department to determine any further actions that might be required. Updated advice will become available as the Department\u2019s contact tracing process continues.<\/p>\n<p>The safety and care of our patients and families remains our highest priority.
