It\u2019s been another record-breaking Good Friday Appeal, raising an outstanding $18,175,467 for The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital (RCH)!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final tally was announced late last night, following a huge day of fundraising, media, activities and special visits both at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre and at the RCH.<\/p>\n

RCH CEO John Stanway said it was a fantastic result, and extended his thanks to everyone who helped raise the record-breaking amount.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery year, we are humbled by the passion and generosity of our community who come together and fundraise for our hospital \u2013 and this year is no exception,\u201d John said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe strength of the Appeal undoubtedly lies in the countless individuals, groups and organisations who give up their time to fundraise for our hospital \u2013 and it is because of you that we\u2019re able to remain at the forefront of paediatric care<\/p>\n

\u201cI speak on behalf of everyone at the RCH when I say we are overwhelmed by the support of our community, and I extend our sincere thanks to every single person who supported the Appeal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Funds raised by the Appeal will support the RCH to continue raising the bar and delivering world-leading paediatric care to children from Victoria, but also from across Australia and even globally.<\/p>\n

Below are some of the ways funds from this year\u2019s Appeal will support us to do this.<\/p>\n
