I have lived in hospital for more than half of my life because my stomach didn’t work when I was born. When I was 11 months old I met Judy and we have been friends ever since. I am always excited when I see her. It can be boring when my family can’t come in and visit me, but its okay because I know that Judy will come and play. My grandparents live in different countries so it is nice to have Judy, she is like a grandma to me.

We do lots of fun things together like watching play school on TV and going out together to see the meerkats and fish. I really love it when Judy and I dance together in my hospital room.

Judy is lovely and kind, she looks after me. It’s good that Judy comes into the hospital and looks after kids that are sick because she loves everyone, and I love her very much.

– By Yuli

Yuli has been a patient at the RCH since birth and has a special story to tell about her Ward Grandparent, Judy.

[6

post-3261","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-in-the-news
["GET
