{"id":1940,"date":"2012-04-06T14:09:53","date_gmt":"2012-04-06T04:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/inthenews\/?p=1940"},"modified":"2015-04-29T13:48:45","modified_gmt":"2015-04-29T03:48:45","slug":"thank-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/news\/thank-you\/","title":{"rendered":"Thank you from The Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_1943\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1943\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/news\/2012\/04\/06\/thank-you\/new-image1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1943\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1943  \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/news\/files\/2012\/04\/New-Image1-210x160.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1943\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">RCH patients, families and staff farewell the community on Seven&#39;s live telecast of the Good Friday Appeal.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital would like to thank the entire community \u2013 our supporters, patients, families, staff, volunteers and friends \u2013 for your\u00a0generous support of the 2012 Good Friday Appeal.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Good Friday Appeal raised <strong>$15,820,640.78<\/strong> for The Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital (RCH).<\/p>\n<p>As fundraising activities took place across Australia, it was also a special day for those who were at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Media, celebrity guests and other well-known personalities came\u00a0to the hospital to lend their support to the appeal and meet patients, families and staff.<\/p>\n<p>Channel 7 broadcast its evening news live from the hospital on the eve of the Good Friday Appeal.
