The 14-year-old has both cystic fibrosis and Type 1 diabetes which has meant he hasn&#8217;t gone longer than five-months out of hospital since he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as a baby. The high-spirited teen is currently awaiting a double lung transplant at the Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital (RCH).<\/p>\n<p>Seven program Sunday Night visited Coen and his family in the RCH this month to film part of a story that went to air last Sunday, 20 November. The program told Coen&#8217;s inspiring story, including his recent campaign to raise awareness for organ donation. The campaign saw him head down the Murray River on a jet-ski and resulted in an increase in donor numbers by more than 1000.<\/p>\n<p>Recently Coen was recognised for his amazing effort with a Pride of Australia Child of Courage Award in Queensland.
