The Department of Health is seeking applications for part-time Board Director positions in health services across Victoria. Appointment terms start on 1 July 2027 and are for up to three years.<\/p>\n
These roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to Victoria\u2019s public health system by providing strategic leadership, oversight and accountability to support safe, high-quality and effective healthcare for Victorians. As a board director, you will hold an important position of trust, helping ensure health services operate with integrity and with a strong focus on patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Appointments are based on capabilities and the professional and lived experience applicants can bring to the strategic leadership of Victoria\u2019s public health system.<\/p>\n
We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences, including First Nations people, people living with a disability, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQA+ people, and those living in rural and regional Victoria. Living in Victoria, or in a border community near Victorian health services, is preferred.<\/p>\n
