The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) has been listed as an exposure site for a recently diagnosed case of measles.<\/p>\n

If you visited one of the locations listed on the\u00a0Chief Health Officer’s Health Alert<\/a>, please monitor yourself and your family for symptoms of measles over the next 7 to 18 days.<\/p>\n

Measles is a highly contagious viral illness. Early symptoms include a fever over 38\u00b0C, a cough, runny nose, sore red eyes and tiredness. A red, blotchy rash usually appears 3 to 4 days later, starting on the face and spreading.<\/p>\n
