#2 Conversations with Clinicans: Parent well-being

This is our second installment of conversations with expert clinicians around topical issues. In this short podcast Dr Georgina Cox discusses the importance of parent well-being.

In this interview, Georgina discusses:

  • What research has been conducted into the well-being of parents with a disability and what were the main findings
  • What can professionals do to help support parents
  • What can parents do to put their own well-being at the top of the priority list

If you are a parent of a child currently receiving services from the RCH Neurodevelopment and Disability team, and would like support from the Parent Wellbeing Clinic, please email us at neurodev@rch.org, or speak with your child’s paediatrician at your next visit.
