Welcome to Part 3 of our series of brief webinars developed by the Neurodevelopment & Disability parent wellbeing team that will take you through a strategy called FACE COVID, a set of practical steps for responding effectively to the COVID-19 pandemic.
FACE COVID uses principals of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and has been developed by Russ Harris who is an expert in this field.
In Part 2 we discussed the V=Values part of the COVID strategy. Today we review the remaining parts of the strategy, Committed action, Opening up, Identify resources, Disinfect and Distance.
While this webinar is aimed at parents who have a child with a disability we know that it will also be useful to many members of the community who may also be experiencing feelings of worry and anxiety.
