Professor Dinah Reddihough awarded Howard Williams Medal

Congratulations to Professor Dinah Reddihough who has been announced as the recipient of the Howard Williams Medal by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in recognition of her long and distinguished career in developmental medicine.

This prestigious medal is presented in memory of Howard Williams, a great paediatrician at The Royal Children’s Hospital from the late 1930’s to the 1980’s and will be presented to Dinah at an awards ceremony in May.

CEO Christine Kilpatrick said in Dinah’s 30 year career she has challenged the healthcare system to have a significant impact on the lives on children with disabilities and her achievements cannot be overstated.

“It is wonderful to see Dinah celebrated as a pioneering clinician, researcher and educator, and a key force for change in the field of developmental medicine,” Christine said.

Please join us in congratulating Professor Reddihough on her well-deserved recognition and we wish Dinah all the best when she gives the oration at the annual RACP conference to be held in Adelaide in May 2016.
