His research explores the intersection of sleep and mental health and is completing a PhD examining these challenges faced by adolescents with cystic fibrosis, supported by a NHMRC postgraduate scholarship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Mandie Griffiths<\/strong> is a respiratory and sleep paediatrician who is the current Head of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. Dr Griffiths established the RCH Sleep Unit in 2015.\u00a0 She works clinically in both Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, seeing patients with complex disorders of sleep, including narcolepsy and the hypersomnias. Mandie has a special interest in the transition of complex patients on home ventilation to adult care and established the current transition program for respiratory support patients to the Austin VRSS (Victorian Respiratory support service). She is actively involved in clinical research, is an honorary Fellow at the MCRI and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Anne-Marie Adams<\/strong> is Lead Sleep Scientist in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. She provides scientific and operational leadership for paediatric sleep diagnostics, including polysomnography and non-invasive home ventilation. Dr Adams\u2019 research focuses on improving diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in children, particularly those with complex medical conditions, and includes MRFF-funded work and collaborations across major research groups. She is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children\u2019s Research Institute and contributes to international clinical guideline development in paediatric sleep medicine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Moya Vandeleur<\/strong> is a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician and the clinical lead for ventilation in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, RCH. Dr Vandeleur has a special interest in respiratory and sleep health in children with medical complexity, and those requiring long-term respiratory support. She is the department lead for sleep research and has research interests that reflect her clinical practice and interactions with patients and families. She is the Education Chair and a member of the Board of Directors of the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA) and board member of the International Paediatric Sleep Association (IPSA).
