The CF Team will share some of the quality improvement work that has resulted in significant improvements in outcomes for these patients at RCH.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speakers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Jo Harrison <\/strong>is a Paediatric Respiratory Physician and the Cystic Fibrosis Centre Director at RCH. Jo has an interest in quality improvement and clinical education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Katherine Frayman <\/strong>is a Paediatric Respiratory Physician, Respiratory Medicine Quality Lead and the Medical Lead of the Tracheostomy and Complex Airway Service. Katherine was an inaugural Clinical Data Champion at the Centre for Health Analytics, with experience in the use of clinical and medical record data for research and quality improvement purposes. She is the Deputy Clinical Lead of the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Cassidy Du Berry <\/strong>is a senior respiratory scientist and research fellow at The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital and Monash University. His work focuses on refining diagnostic methods to detect early-life lung disease and translating evidence into clinical practice guidelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elena Sunderland<\/strong>\u00a0is one of four CF clinical nurse consultants. Elena graduated her undergraduate nursing degree in paediatrics in 2007.\u00a0She commenced her career at RCH in 2011 and has held a variety of roles around the organisation, joining the CF team in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jen\u00a0Corda<\/strong>\u00a0is a senior respiratory physiotherapist and cardiorespiratory team leader at RCH.\u00a0Jen\u00a0has completed her Master of Research, a health service research fellowship through the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health, a data champion position at the Centre for health analytics and is a current PhD candidate.\u00a0Jen\u00a0works primarily with children with Cystic Fibrosis and has an interest in evolving clinical models of care especially the implementation of digital health.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outcomes for patients with Cystic Fibrosis have improved dramatically over the years.
