In a series of short case presentations, discover how the Infectious Diseases team battles with viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa and alien life forms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speakers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Professor Nigel Curtis<\/strong> is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases physician and clinician scientist. He is Professor of Paediatric Infectious Diseases at The University of Melbourne, Head of Infectious Diseases at The Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital Melbourne, and leads the Infectious Diseases Research Group at the Murdoch Children&#8217;s Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Associate Professor Gabrielle Haeusler<\/strong> is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases physician at The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital Melbourne, Associate Professor in The Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology and a Team Leader in the Clinical Infections Research Group at the Murdoch Children&#8217;s Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Josh Osowicki<\/strong>\u00a0is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases physician at The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital Melbourne and a clinician scientist who leads the Vaccine Challenges team in the Tropical Diseases Research Group at the Murdoch Children\u2019s Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Associate Professor Penelope Bryant<\/strong> is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases physician and clinician scientist.
