With two years of enabling the Campus to better use our data, the Centre will share successes and lessons learned across their journey.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speakers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kate Lucas <\/strong>is the inaugural Director of the Centre for Health Analytics, appointed in 2020 to build and lead the Centre. Kate\u202fspecialises in digital health strategy and delivery. She has worked across the clinical and research sector and consulted to the health industry with Deloitte.\u202fKate\u202fhas led digital transformation projects, has executive level experience in the clinical research sector, and has an extensive working knowledge of hospital and medical research technology requirements, barriers, and opportunities. Kate\u202fhas a Bachelor of Science (Honours), a Masters in Information Systems, a Global Executive MBA, and is a Certified Health Informatician (Australasia).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professor Jim Buttery<\/strong> is the head of research at the Centre for Health Analytics at the Melbourne Children\u2019s campus. Jim is a vaccinologist and a paediatric infectious diseases physician at the Royal Children&#8217;s Hospital in Melbourne. He is the Head of Epidemiology and Surveillance for SAEFVIC and Group Leader of the Health Informatics research group at the Murdoch Children&#8217;s Research Institute and holds the inaugural Chair in Child Health Informatics at the University of Melbourne. Jim serves on the Advisory Committee on Vaccines for the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration and is a member of the Brighton Collaboration Science Board.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Health Analytics launched to the Campus in June 2021.
