{"id":914,"date":"2013-04-04T04:56:15","date_gmt":"2013-04-04T04:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/?p=914"},"modified":"2013-04-04T04:56:15","modified_gmt":"2013-04-04T04:56:15","slug":"2012-aedi-results-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/2013\/04\/04\/2012-aedi-results-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"2012 AEDI results launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Minister for School Education, Early Childhood and Youth Peter Garrett has launched the 2012 AEDI results, providing Australia with a second snapshot of children\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<p>The release of the second AEDI dataset, collected in 2012, reveals a positive change in the proportion of Australian children developmentally vulnerable on one or more domains (from 23.6 per cent to 22 per cent) when compared with the 2009 AEDI results.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, AEDI Checklists were completed on 289,973 children in their first year of full-time formal school.
